Yesterday, I was making a map using Worldedit, when suddenly, after making multiple custom units, it would not let me create any more. This could be a major problem for those that wish to make maps with a wide variety of items/units, as the limit is less than 100 custom units. I am sure there is a way to bypass this somehow, and if anyone has any good news about it, please post it here. ~Antimodes~ |

Its 99. This has been found many times, by many different people. The only way to get around it is to use something other than WE to edit the units. |

if you want to make a custom hero for your map, and at the same time you aren't going to use the normal paladin, just edit the normal paladin to be the new hero. That way you save "customability" slots. Do this also for any item you aren't going to use rather than using up a custom item slot. some things to note: if you edit an undead hero they will prolly still take damage from holy light even if they don't look undead, so as a general rule try to make your new unit or whatever after something that closely resembles it to minimize chances of weird things going on. |

under the unit, there is a classifaction, remove the undead and it wont count as undead anymore, and he is on to a good point There are tons of items you wont use in you map that blizzard has under the normal stuff, Edit them so they are new custom items, the image icon, desctiption and stats. It saves tons of space. |

Actually, I used up every single normal item and most normal units in the map. One of you replied saying that there is a way outside of WE, please explain. |

You can use a hex editor, which is the annoying hard way, edit the correct slk to add more non-custom units, or one of the several unit editors people have made. |
