Hey guys! i just updated my Footmen Frenzy, and I was wondering if you guys could find some bugs or sugges me about anything, as long it is a feedback (a useful one) Copied straight from the original description!

Well, I'll try and get you some feedback unless someone beats me to it of course : p. From your description, I suppose I've got high hopes but I didn't really see why game modes would add to anything. Usually, things like All random are there because the heroes lack balance. And of course, the AR mode is usually taken so people don't get the chance to select rigged heroes. Instead, I'd recommend you add modes that change the objectives of the game like 'king of hill' mode. Your goal would be to have a minimum of X units from your team in the center of the map for a certain duration. Once you build up enough points from sitting in the middle, you'd win! You could also add a mode where the goal is to keep a certain unit under your control like... A sheep(could be anything else)! Essentially, if you kill the sheep, it becomes your unit. As long it remains in your possession, your team gets points! Of course, the sheep could not leave the center of the map. Although the modes seem similar, they change the objectives of the map and change the strategies people will create. Modes like AR and whatever all those other ones like -hi and -dm mean(What modes they actually are would be nice too) don't change the game. It only aggravates players who get the bad heroes and makes the people who get good heroes 'lucky' or only 'good cause they got the imba hero'. Most of the time, your hero will determine how faster you're going to advance your footmen than the other players. A hero with the Area of Effect skills is going to do a lot better than the ones with passive skills early on and this gold in the long run, will doom the other players. The upgraded footmen decimate the weaker ones and the snowball effect continues, it's already a good(or bad :p) game! 'Very Balanced'. Please don't say that because that one comment really makes me doubt the quality of your map... Only time will tell. I'll post again once I've actually had the chance to play. And why take items from dota...? Were you unable to think of items yourself? What's so special about dota items? Most are just stat boosters and orb effects, I didn't see the point of actually stealing some description, icon, and name when you could easily come up with something yourself! What do you mean by no swearing? Is it banned? Does the game censor you? Did previous footman frenzy games contain vulgar or profane language? |
