I believe i will find my answer here of all places. I tried using/editing .slk's but seeing as how there is only one tutorial about using .slk's, and it's outdated and it didn't work for me because it's not very informative, has anyone got any ideas? There is a RoC version map of a FT map - icegliders - that incorporates high-speed unit movements. I think the only way to get your unit over 400 unit speed is to edit the gameplay constants. If that's the case then icegliders proves that it can be done.. All i need to know is how! icegliders http://epicwar.com/maps/98796/ |

Perhaps this is in the wrong forum? I think maybe it is. |

The way that Blizzard beat their own hardcoded movement maximum for Azeroth Grand Prix was basically by using a trigger to move units from point to point along their path. If you're looking for how to do that, I would crack open Grand Prix. |

Ya for these kinds of things you'll need to setup your own movement system I'd think so you can control velocity and the such. |
