I'm running a windows machine, but the server my site is hosted on is linux. The problem is that I need a program that will run on linux and extracts all of the files from a mpq, but I wouldn't know how to compile that on a windows machine. I'm asking if anyone can create a simple program that can be ran in linux that simply exports all the files from an MPQ. I could do this myself, if my server was windows ![]() |

install linux (you may even use a freaking virtual machine) and learn to compile programs for it... (for god's sake, you may even write just a script that calls WINE...) SFMPQ source was released a long time ago and it compiles under linux. |

I've dual booted ubuntu before, and it was just a pain. I haven't thought about calling WINE, though I don't think WINE is installed by default on linux so I don't know if my server has it or not. |

Use a virtual machine. No need to dual-boot. And why use Windows? Linux is better. New Ubuntu just came out too. :D |

Compiling vJass is annoying on linux, I prefer grimoire over command line JassHelper. |

Bump? I mean it should only take like 5 minutes, at least thats how long it would take me to write under windows. |
