Guest | I have looed thru the tutorial section, but I can't find how to combine 2 spells with eachother. For example: I want to make a drain life spell, but to do that, I need to combine at least 2 spells (MayB heal or Deathpact and a direct damage spell like finger of death). If it is possible, how do you do it? |

how about a negative rejuvination? re your question: you can't do that with normal spell editting. Your spell has to act like another spell. Combining two would be something entirely different. |

The tutorials don't cover the fusing of spells for the simple reason that (atm) it isn't possible through modification. You see, while we can edit the data of spells via the abilitydata.slk we can't actually change how that data is interpreted. For example, you can change Mana Burn to perhaps target a friendly unit and add mana instead of subtract it. But you can't make Mana Burn add to attack damage instead of mana, because that is changing how the value is being interpreted. If you're really keen on having this spell though, you can do it via triggers, but it's an awful lot of work and it'll definately help with a bit of knowledge before hand, otherwise you'll be jumping into the deep end without floaties - so to speak :ggani:.
