Rotate a ribbon in War3ModelEditor, how ?

I got this Rune Etched Scimitar by Usedwell on the Hive

I want to modify it to use in my map.
What I want is, add a "Stand Alternate" animation to it and in this animation, it has a ribbon emitter.

I manage to add a Stand Alternate animation, a ribbon (along with translation, a rotation for this ribbon), but:

Zoom (requires log in)

The ribbon I added is the blue line, I want to rotate it to the red line but I just can't.

can any one help me ? (I didn't know anything about rotation in War3ModelEditor, the rotation I have made is one I saw in an existing model)

The easy way would be to attach it to a bone and rotate the bone.

errr.. how to rotate it ? War3 Model Editor use some kind of 'quaternion' (involves vectors, right ?) to rotate bones, but I didn't know anything about this
p.s: the rotation I mentioned here is rotation in animating, not in Windows \ Model Editor

What I do is attach the ribbon to a bon and animate it in warforger.
