Whatever happened to Skinning and Modeling contests?

Mc !
I understand that some of us artists are being insanely inactive, but it might be because we don't get these activity boosts like good ol' skinning and Modeling contests...

I only say that we should bring them back, what do you think?

Facts:
  • All skinning contests result in are a bunch of cool WIPs that no one finishes. Without reliable entrants, there can be no contests. Even you're guilty of that, Mc.
  • It's even worse for Modeling Contests.
If you can fix the entrant problem, we will make contests. We've had ample staff discussion about this and it always falls down to those above two points.

I always finish a model on time, and skinning takes little more than a day, if I decide to tweak it in between naps.

I learned my lesson :P... Somehow I managed to finish my models in both Hero Contests (and of course I plan on finishing this one) And many others did so too...

Yes, the past two hero contests have raised our hopes. We're just trying to work our way up to it. Perhaps we'll experiment with a texturing contest after the current hero contest ends.
