Some Sketches

Harro everyone.
It's been a while since I've been here!
Since I've decided to spend some off-time working on WC3 modding stuff which has brought me back here, I might as well post some art I have been working on.
Some of it is my attempt at recreating blizz art, some of it is concept art for a project I probably will never do. Regardless I figured I'd post it here since you guys are a good crowd.

There are a few other drawings I am working on, but they aren't far along enough to post.

The first one is my drawing of the Cataclysm Background, with a few changes. The second is the "Fortified War Tower," which is concept art of mine. The third is my drawing of a marine (based off blizzard concept art), with some stuff added on the side. And the fourth is the "Voodoo Tower," another concept art of mine.

Please, give me some feedback.

I'm also curious, for you pen and paper artists, on how to make realistic metal textures. I'm attempting to make Deathwing's face look metallic but it doesn't seem to come out that well. Also, a note, the deathwing drawing isn't complete, the wings and the body need shading and etc.

Hey, there's not much to say. You gotta keep practicing to a point where criticism can help you out.

For your dragon pic, I think you got the texture good enough, it's just that it lacks contrast with the rest so it doesn't seem to look too metallic. Those towers lack detail, look up some references (real and ingame) for some inspiration.

If you want more critique you'll have more chance posting sketches as you get em in the sketch dump thread. The rest of this section is pretty much dead imo.
