To make it short, a library of mine is desperately in need of a good demonstration. What i seek is pure 2D art, doesnt have to be fancy, it should just look decent ingame. Maybe 3 images of 128x16 (width x height). I dont think this can be done without close cooperation, so contact me if youre interested. I will of course be watching this thread as well. I cant offer much, besides being thankful, some reputation, and of course credits. |

Ugh, seems like ill have to explain... Alright, a bar (at least in this particular case) consists of three layers. A background (the lowermost layer), the foreground (unintuitively the middle layer) and a mask (the topmost layer). Background and mask are static, no resizing takes place. The foreground however is resized to indicate the current percentage the bar is filled. All layers support alpha, which makes the mask so useful, because you can turn a rectangular foreground into something round by making the mask opaque in certain places. What im seeking is a high quality background, foreground and mask. 128x16 is the minimum, but you can exceed it (to scale) however you see fit. It wont change the way its displayed ingame. I appreciate all your work, but sadly it currently doesnt fit my needs. |
