I had an idea, not that i need it, but it would be a cool resource that i would implement if made; whether the title question is needed or not is beyond my scope. If your camera is following a unit you feel confined to what you can do - boxed-in. Well let's say you want to follow a unit but also want to do other things without having to "find" the unit. I propose a camera function which acts like a rubber-band, you move the field-of-view left and when you "let go" the camera springs back to followed unit in a fluid motion. |

As per the title, if your talking about the mouse then no. In theory, you could check the camera position from one moment to the next and know if the camera is moving away from the unit or not, then apply a camera rubber-band effect when the person stops moving the camera. |
