I remember reading this on the tutorial or a thread, Can't remember, its been too long.
I would like to know what does Shadow Strike - Decay Power do? its default value is 3.

Thanks in advance to people to clarify for me [:

I think it's a period for the decaying damage (deals damage each 3 seconds for a duration).

Thats the casting time. I tried changing the value of decaying power but nothing seems to change.

Casting time is actually the damage interval. Setting casting time to zero instantly kills the unit.

EDIT: Ack, I was taking too long to test. I couldn't find anything changing by altering the "Decay Power"... Perhaps we aren't looking hard enough. :P

EDIT2: I've tried negative, positive, and numbers between 0 and 1 (0.50, 0.75, etc) and nothing changes the damage over time value... I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

As far as I remember, Decay Power refers to the speed reduction of the unit.

For example, if you set Shadow Strike's slow to 90%, it will decrease by half(I think?) every interval of decay power.

Lets just say it's half, I'm not sure but I know the speed reduces quite a bit from the start of the duration till the end.

Lets say Shadow Strike Lasts 15 seconds and you have 90% speed reduction, you set Decay Power to 3 seconds.

So every 3 seconds, the speed reduction halves from 45, to 22.5, to 12.5, etc.

This might not be exactly how it works but I'm sure Decay Power has to affect the "slow" of Shadow Strike.

One thing you should notice with Shadow Strike is that at the beginning of the cast, the unit moves very slow but after a while, they start moving faster.

So decay power seems to affect that.

New user is correct, Decay Power refers to the power of its effects applied per decay.

How ever, its a bit strange, and you will need to play around to figure it out.

Interesting to not tho, using a negative value Decay Power will make any attack or move speed decays permanent after the decay is completed

Simple test map attached below; (use -spawn to spawn the units, -cast to order them to cast, -check to check the index of a selected footman, and -clear to delete all units)
