Hi all, i've recently read How to develop spells with effects over time by moyack over at the JASS tutorial section. I was wondering which ability is best to base of for effects over time spells so that the targeted unit will have a buff on them. I've tried soul burn, but that will silence the targeted unit. Is there anything else better? Thanks in advance! |

Have you tried Acid Bomb/Drunken Haze? Those often work very well. |

Cool, thanks for the quick reply! Because i will need 5 base spell that gives buff that can't be autocast on the same unit. So that i can track each of the DoT buff. Will Channel ability give buffs if i add buff to it and give it a duration? |

Sadly, no. Cripple, Lightning Shield, Spirit Link, Unholy Frenzy, Rejuvenation. Could also use Shadow Strike, Acid Bomb and Drunken Haze but they aren't as instant as the first 5 (actually, with a really high missile speed they might be, can't remember). There's even more if you don't mind the spell being an auto-cast. Or you could dummy cast them if you needed more and cared. |
