Hey guys, brand new here. I usually just lurk around forums but I thought I'd try and become an active member. A tiny bit about me; I've recently gotten myself back into the modding scene. I'd say my personal forte would be terrain and general map design. But I'm familiar with other aspects on mapping too.

Now that that's out of the way... I'm currently working on a hero survival map that will feature many waves, triggered boss battles, eventually a save/load feature for heroes. Among other random things, I have pretty high hopes for it but hopefully nothing to unrealistic.

Since I've been out of the scene for a little while I've come across a couple small things I've got questions on. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

First; I'm curious as to how you change the text on a summoned units duration bar. As in, if I base a spell off Summon Water Elemental how to I make the custom summoned unit not display "Water Elemental"?

Second; is there a way to use Frost Armor as a custom spell but without the cold damage? I just need it to be an auto-cast armor bonus spell.

For the duration bar text, I believe that depends on the name of the buff that the summon spell uses.

For an autocast armour bonus, try using Inner Fire as the base spell.

Those both did it quite nicely, thank you very much. I knew it would be something simply for the duration bar I just couldn't seem to find a solution anywhere. I thought I had tried Inner Fire too but I guess not, it works quite well for what I needed.

I have another question but I didn't want to create a new thread or double post. Maybe someone can offer some information...

I'm trying to make a hero ability that grants higher health regeneration the lower the heroes health gets. What would be required to do something like that?

For the health regeneration bit, you would need to trigger the health regen, but could do so by making a periodic event to check if a unit has the ability, then modifying the unit's life based on some formula or such.

Or you could just add Unholy Aura to the unit.
