Chaos Shaman

I was looking around the WE and noticed there was no texture for a chaos shaman. Nor it was in this site,so I decided to make one.
It's a very simple texture,and doesn't change a lot of the shaman,
It doesn't use custom models.Texture path is: units\Orc\Shaman\Shaman.blp

Feel free to comment. Anything to improve it will be taken in consideration.

-I'm now shining the mask, and changing a little the robes

a bit dark.
also doesnt fit in much with the other chaos orc units. maybe use the texture of the raider's pants and take the gold from the borders of the metal plates of the chaos orc armor.

doesn't look bad, man.
I'd add more blood to the claws and color his eyes red. Some more runes wouldn't be bad (at least one on the jaw)

It does look good from the screenshot, post a picture of the skin file so we can examine it.

K. I'll add more blood, reden his eyes, and add some runes. I'll post a picture too.

What jaw, orc's or panther's?

So uh, it's a recolor?

ehm...recolor?
It's a simple texture, changed the color and add some things.
what exactly do you mean with recolor?

recolor is just change the color of the model , if you see the rules , you need to do at least 75 % freehand , recolor is a simple edit, that anyone can make.

It is 75% freehand, the only thing I didn't change a lot was his body, wich I only changed from green to red,and his...teeth?
anyway,it is a VERY simple edit and isn't CnP or filtered.
It still needs some work, because he looks very bare, and I know it can't be approved like this. That's why I'm asking for comments.

Oh,and I won't change the model.

hmm,ok. i think the colors is too dark, and you should try to put some details on his cloath, like blood runes or something, its too simple right now.

It is, so much so that it looks like a recolored version of the original, which is not freehand.

Don't see much use for this texture. You can reproduce something very similar with shading in triggers.

Hey, uh, mistertea. You should learn some terms first. Freehand means drawing by hand, like, using the brush\pencil tool and if you got one, a tablet. Recolor means selecting a part of the skin and adjusting it's colors. I'm sure that most programs have various tools for that, but that's not quite what WC3C is asking to be submitted into the database, as far as I know. You have understand that your skin is not quite good enough, as it is mainly recolored from the original texture. You'll need to draw if you want to get a skin into the database, not just use the Hue\Saturation tool.

I've used pencil and rubber only, the only thing I didn't change was the body.
If you prefer, I could repaint all the wolf fur. It won't be very hard and I don't care painting it.And,maybe, it could look better ingame.
Shall I paint it panther-like?post your ideas

- If someone could post an image of a rune I could add tp his back,I'll be grateful.

The skin is way way way way too dark. He's like a shadow with some red.

Also, he doesn't match the other chaos orcs. Use them as a reference so that you can get the colors right.

Also, to get an idea of what freehand really looks like, check out some of the textures in the database. Even if you manually re-colored the skin using the paintbrush ( a very unorthodox method), it's not really free-hand. Free hand would be drawing runes, adding blood, alpha'ing out parts... Stuff like that.
