Hi everybody!

I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to geomerge attachments WITH their animations (stand, emitters etc). I know how to geomerge successfully, but during this process, the original attachment's animations are lost.

Is there a way to keep those (without the actual use of modelling programs such as 3ds Max, as those are horribly complicated + I fail in using those successfully)?

Thanks for reading!

The process of "geomerging" is just that -- geoset merging. Animations are created by bones, emitters, all sorts of nodes that are completely ignored.

The short answer: you have to delve into the MDL in Notepad, copy the geoset manually, copy the appropriate nodes manually, then set them all up to work in the target model. Theoretically not difficult, but a bit of a skiddle if you don't understand some of the nitty gritty of how an MDL is organised.
