Well, the main point in question that I wanted to ask is regarding models. Well, I just did some skin editing (And a bit of model editing) for a unit in the Model Editor. Problem is, that unit happens to also have a Portrait model. So I edited the skin for that one too. The problem however, is that model does not use the portrait model and thus looks a bit on the odd side in the portrait section. How do I make it use the portrait model? Yes, I made sure to import both the portrait and model files. _____________________________ 1) The other question I wanted to ask is regarding weapon-ized spells, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can balance out an Anti-Tank Missile? Well, let's say I'm still working on that Tank AoS. Now I'm working on an Anti-Tank Missile, making that ATM is quite easy really, all it just needs is a modified Firebolt or something along those lines. But, anti-tank missiles mean a quick and fast way to destroy Tanks, which represent the heroes, so it obviously needs to have high damage, since in real-life I'm sure ATMs pierce and blow up Tanks with little difficulty, but it would be impractical to use if I gave it a high cooldown, and it would definitely not do well if someone went firing one each time after the cooldown and blowing the unfortunate player to smithereens. So, I'm asking for your suggestions on how to balance the anti-tank missile. 2) Unlike the last time, I've divided the two sides into seperate factions, the Federation vs the Imperium, the Federation is easy to work out, since they pretty much use bombs, bullets and otherwise. The Imperium on the other hand, rely on lasers, ion cannons and energy weapons and otherwise. For basic projectiles I have models already, but when it comes to the Imperium artillery, I can't really find a suitable projectile, although I am aiming for it to be blue. Problems, Freezing breath is unimpressive, blue dragonbreath is uninteresting. So does anyone have any suggestions on what I could use before I decide to use green dragonbreath or download a plasma mortar? |

if the model's name is model.mdx then the portrait has to be called model_portrait.mdx to make it work. But you could always add a camera to your model. It won't look as nice as an extra portrait model, but it would still work. |
