Hello, I want to submit one of my projects called BUGS!, now updated to work with the latest wc3 versions. I'd say it's something like a mix of arena and survival gameplay with a pretty unique touch and feel. Map description: Following the law of darwin, only the strongest insects will survive. Your task is simple: kill, eat and evolve, but try not to get eaten by someone larger than you! In your evolution, you will aquire the abilities of the insects you kill. Who will be the first bug to reach level 70 and rule the carrot garden? There is also a corresponding thread to this project that can be found here: http://www.wc3c.net/showthread.php?t=103367 |

Hey, this IS quality! It got me hooked for 2 hours =) Anyway, it got pretty boring as soon as I reached level 60... there was no match against creeps/AI. All I had to do was wandering around until my bug auto-targeted something, but maybe with real opponents things would have been different. |

how to kill the bees? :D. you should add random event or some mini quests imo :) |

Intresting map, however I didn't notice that you actually envolved, just leveled up. I think it would be fun if you could become a new creature depending on what you do / kill / eat. |

Yepp. Well.. It had once started this map as a small fun project. I've already got some good suggestions on the map in the past. @syltman: The evolving aspect is interesting for sure. Actually I'm not quite sure, if I like the idea of the creature being changed. I've thought about 3 different playable creatures like bug, spider and ant, each with different advantages. But yeah.. maybe changing the creature would make it even more dynamic. I'll think about it And I think there could be a kind of score system. So you can earn achievements, that give score points (like killing the huge spider, or destryoing the bee hive). So it's not the first high level bugs who wins, but the one with the highest score. So you will need to obtain different tasks to increase your score. @blanc_dummy: There is an abilitiy to aquire, that makes your attacks hit air units and enables you to target the Bees. The sad side about this is, that most of the good ideas will need some time and effort to realize and I'm very busy with real life now since I'm no student any more. This means, I'm not sure, if I will be able to further work on this and if so, in which time. But I'll try to do so. |

Evolution doesn't quite work that way. Molting and other transformations are more appropriate to the organisms and the time scale. |

Note: Was tested, and found actually at least decent. Pending further testing. |

Let me know if there's something that needs to be improved. |

I should add that being held for further testing is pretty high praise. :P Should bother one day to get another testing crew together. |

lol. the real question is, will MoCo still be around when Griffen finally gets his crew together? |

Since the map supports a decent AI, you could also fill up empty slots with computer players. However, this is not the real deal of course. |
