Hey folks,

I apologize for the lack of news lately. I've moved cross country and things are just finally starting to settle down, so until Skullpitter and I can get some more testing done and bug fixing, I'm not sure how long it will be before the first Chapter is released, but here are some updated screenshots from the Grand Hamlet level to tide you over.

Buildings are customized versions of the human building sets by Morpheus.

Also, the lack of shadows on the farm will be fixed by the final version. Just SLK'd the doodads and didn't set up the shadows yet.

Included also is a shot of the new Orcish Great Hall that's being worked on.

Glad to hear some news, the project looks amazing! (as always)

Just noticed a thing... the Human UI shows the night/day cycle while the Orc UI doesn't... is that mission-related? Or the Orc UI is in a WIP state?

Anyway, keep up the good work! =D

Awesome, news at last! I think that the Peon's portrait looks a little... Strange, but otherwise it looks VERY promising. The project looks amazing!

I was intending to remove it for both, as all time related matters in DoC will be shown via a countdown timer, but the Human UI was made before that decision. I am planning on re-doing the human UI, to make it a bit... well, better.

Sounds like a good idea... it will give an arcad-ish feel IMO, nice.

I never really payed all the much attention to the project but the screenshots make it seem really interesting. I look forward to trying it.

In the cinematic of the third screenshot, you might consider changing the dialog from "They say" to "He says".

Also, here's a few shots from the second orc mission. Pardon the WC3 texture on the dead treess - need to arse myself to make one that goes with our trees.
