What do you think of my current model Im working on?

Should I add a weapon and shield or should I just leave it empty for attachments?

Should I add anything else?

this probably is the wrong forum but i don't think it matters much; he's asking for opinions on what do to next, not modeling help.

it really depends on what you want to do with him though. if you want to set him up for attachments points and make weapons and stuff then do so. doesn't really matter either way unless you have a particular use for him

You could make variations for him, I mean that you could have separated models with another animations so for example he could have animations for:
-One handed weapon and shield
-2x One handed weapon
-Two handed weapon

And also you could make few attachment-able weapons.
I know it's much work, but giving mapmakers more options is always better.

By the way - I like your model.

Cool! Great ideas. I figured if enough people liked this, I would make a new race of them.

It look pretty awkward because the hand are incredibly low-poly while the chains are high-poly. And those shoulder pads... look kind of like epaulets, but they are metal. They look like they are pointless because they wouldn't protect the wearer from being stabbed in shoulder from the front. Also, the helmet doesn't look like it could fit a head inside it. Maybe too thin on the X axis? The "plume" thing also looks like it should be much taller to be identifiable in game, if that's in fact what it is.

I get what you mean about the hands, but I figured with a weapon and shield in his hands, it wouldent be noticable ingame.

What are "epaulets"?

I don't get how you think the helm has no room for a head.

About the "plume", yes that is what it is and I can make it bigger if you think Its to small.

Thanks for giving your opinions.
