First off I'd like to say I'm amazed at all of the terrainers here, such detail is something I just can't do, that aside my real problem: The map I am currently working on is set to be in the third person. The user can zoom in and out to a certain degree, control the angle of attack of the camera, and rotate their camera around their unit or lock it to its facing. The camera that I've made works fine its just that there is a certain radius around the unit in game where nothing past that point will be visible. So lets say my character is standing on top of a cliff overlooking an amazing city, the problem is he can't see it because its out of his loading range. So is there a way for a player to fully load the entire map to see its end? Or will I have to compensate my terrain so that he will never see blue sky loading? |
