Sorry for not putting in specific details. I'm not intersted in being the 'lead developer' behind this project but I was only seeing if people would be interested. Fans of eq would most likely know what to expect anywhos. But! here are a few ideas of mine. The skinny; PC development: --------------------- -Unique Leveling system 1-65(similar to the one used in 'A Dragon's Tale(tail?) RPG) -Stats are fixed once selected by PC. There will be no expendable items that grant permanent stat boosts. (not sure if this is possible yet) -Personal Storage at each town (not avaliable on dungeon like maps) -Slots for items are restricted. You cannot wear more than 2 articles of the same clothing. -Choose from 14 races and 15 classes Races: http://eqlive.station.sony.com/library/races.jsp Classes: http://eqlive.station.sony.com/library/classes.jsp -FPS/Overhead/3rd person view -Diety worshipping will restrict certain races to enter towns (some will be more prejudice than others), aggrosity towards certain monsters more info here: http://eqlive.station.sony.com/library/deities.jsp Monsters(mobs): --------------------- -Once aggrosity is gained by a monster, it will chase the PC until the PC reaches a safe zone or the monster is dead -Safe zones are located at the begining of each map -Some monsters will require 2-12 people to defeat (some may leave only one left standing) Maps: ------- -Some maps will be focused on dungeons/adventure/towns/quests/ or a combination thereof -Maps may have a combination of zones (i.e. Neriak to Neriak Forest to lavastorm Mts to Nagafens Lair) This way people could interact with a town, woodsy areas, mountains and a dungeon in one single map. - http://www.eqatlas.com http://www.eqmaps.com To start off this campaign I was thinking of completeing a single and multiplayer version of a map. Specifically - Nagafen's Lair. |
