In my game I use a camera that is a lot farther out than the standard camera. The camera most players choose look like this: Trigger: Camera - Set (Picked player)'s camera Angle of attack to 285.00 over 0.00 seconds
![]() Camera - Set (Picked player)'s camera Field of view to 70.00 over 0.00 seconds
![]() Camera - Set (Picked player)'s camera Distance to target to 3750.00 over 0.00 seconds
![]() Camera - Set (Picked player)'s camera Rotation to 90.00 over 0.00 secondsThe camera works fine, but when the camera is zoomed out that much, the game lighting becomes much darker. To prevent the light dimming, I've tried both setting the Fog options to different settings as well as doing things like Trigger: Camera - Set (Picked player)'s camera Far Z to 10000.00 over 0.00 secondsBoth of these seem to fix the problem, but whenever I test a game online, there's always one person that complains about the entire screen being black. Any ideas? My current Terrain Fog Settings are Linear Fog, Z Start/End: 6000, Density:0, Color: Black. Could this be the issue? |

Set both z fog and far z to high values and it should not be a problem. I would say having a z fog at least twice as large as the highest planned camera distance would be safe. If z fog is not a sufficiently high value, the entire screen can be blocked by fog (probably the blackness people complain about). |

Thats the thing though. I've tried setting the x fog to 10000 for both the start/end distance, yet there's still always 1 person that complains about it. |

The fog/camera works fine for me. Maybe you aren't setting up the camera properly for certain players (like camera below the terrain or something). You should check your loops again or just post the camera trigger/part here. |

The camera works just fine for everyone except one person in each game. To change the camera, players either have to type a line of text or use an ability, neither of which are player specific. I'll recheck everything, but I may just have to except the dimming-- I can't have one player be unable to play in each game. |

Which "one player". Is it just a random player? Since you are setting the FarZ, make sure that also applies for that player. (Basically, make sure that player follows the conditions/is in that player group you've picked) Try showing the rest of the trigger(s). |

Yeah, it does seem to be random. And, it's not in every game. Also, the issue seems to be consistent for the people who do have the issue. Makes me wonder if it could be somehow related to something like the video quality options chosen. |

why u need to mess with the game camera that much ? did u try reducing objects size? anyway, when u're testing the game online, dont u ask the guy having the problem to take a screenshot for you? or maybe what monitor he has, what video options he has turned on ... |
