I wasn't sure where to post it because on one hand it is a resource, but on the other hand it is something especially for the ones who want to create a demonhunter texture. I basicly made 1 important change: I added an area for the eyes. That way there won't be guessworks anymore how to place them to make a good-looking portrait. I know it's a very simple model, but it is really useful at the same time and those 35/45kb should be spended if someone is using a demonhunter texture. Here are the import paths: Units\Nightelf\HeroDemonHunter\HeroDemonHunter_Portrait.mdx Units\NightElf\EvilIllidan\IllidanEvil_Portrait.mdx sry, but I could not make bigger ingame screenshots :/ |

It's an incredibly useful thing for skinners... But, as you said I believe it shouldn't be on the resources section, it could be on an sticky at the skinning/texturing forum... Or perhaps on the "tools" resource section, I don't know... |

I guess approving it as a tool would be cool, because it is indeed very useful. |

It's not a tool, though. It's not useless either, though. As a resource, it would need to be packaged with many other similarly useful models that fix wrapping issues in WC3. This reminds me of DvO's alternate texture model pack, which was only really approvable because it was a pack and not a single model from it. I do agree that this is useful, though. |

so....are there any other models that need a better portrait?? |

Considering this is on the tools sections, I'm pretty sure such an improvement on a portrait could be on the section too... Nevertheless it DOES would be nice to have some other unwrap fixes... I believe there was a project for doing this long ago with the help of many of us modelers, but we sort of forgot about it xD... |

Then put it on the skinning/texturing forum damn it... But don't leave it here for so long... |

I agree with you, so moved to the skinning and texturing forum. People can find it there if they need it. |

I think it's useful, thanks you ^^ |
