I Downloaded DJBnJack's image extracter. I opened it and then opened the war3.mpq and all of the images are messed up, they have yellow and green and every colors lines blurred around in all of them. Who can help?

you must have downloaded from the latest link on this forum:
http://wc3campaigns.com/forums/showt...=&threadid=967

if you did, try reinstall it, because yet that problem is unknown. If you still have problems, post a bug found post in the thread above

Same problem here. I already posted in the sticky thread. What graphics card do you have? I have NVida Vanta with the very latest driver, with 4MB of onboard RAM (And Warcraft III requires 32!). If that's not the problem, then it's may be a corrupted .dll or .ocx or something in our systems. I thought about the possibility that the 1.01 patch affected it, but more would have this problem if that was true.

Oh, I redownloaded the very latest and 'reinstalled' (put the .exe in my War3 folder, but it still happens.

Attached is the System Information that Blizzard's tool put out, minus a bit of bull.

I found the problem: My Color Depth was set at 16 bit, while the images are in 32. Just had to up it, and it works great. Jack: this would be something to adjust for or warn about in the final version. Thanks for the great prog!

Edited because:
Some more instructions:
This tool requires the ijl15.dll and storm.dll from the warcraft III install dir.
You can either copy them into the tool dir, or copy the tool into the Warcraft III dir (your choice)
.

maybe you need these files ? im not sure that will solve it

Hey, YES...

Thanx... I've heard a few complaints about that (and some other things I skrewed up)

I'll warn for it in the release version.

Greetz,
