Unit Availabilty Upgrade Help

So I've recently gotten back to mapmaking and one of the things I've been playing around with is upgrading normal Grunts into Fel Orc Grunts, I gave the Berserker Strength(the grunt HP upgrade) the same value as the Berserker Upgrade of the Trolls except of course it uses the Grunt/Fel Grunt's datas instead. I also modified the Chaos(Grunt) ability to match the Berserker Upgrade ability and gave it to the Grunt so it could be physically replaced. Also, like the Troll Headhunter that has a Techtree Dependency with the Berserker, I gave the grunt the techtree dependency of the Fel Orc Grunt.

Now here's the problem, the Fel Orc Grunt's Icon still appears despite not being researched. How do I get rid of it and make sure it should only pop up after the Berserker Strength has been researched?

Bump. I'd also want to add that I prefer these factors to be done through the Object Editor and not through Triggers(I know it could be done just as easily with it), I want to keep this map as a simple modified melee.

Does the Fel Orc have the "Berserker Strength" Upgrade under its Upgrades Used secton?

If not add it and try again.

Tried it, didn't work though.

I don't think it ever will, I cloned the Berserker and Headhunter as well as the abilities and upgrades thinking that I've missed something and placed them in the tecthree of the barracks in place of the original ones, it ended up like the Grunt/Fel Grunt in. So I just ended up doing the triggers instead.

Thanks for trying to help me though.

I just settled for triggers to disable them, and yes if you read the first post, I copied and replaced the grunt/chaos grunt upgrades to match them with the trolls.

Since the problem is solved anyway, may I suggest a mod lock this thread?

As a point of interest, I thought the berserker troll wasn't initially in the build list for the Barracks. The upgrade removes the original troll headhunter and adds the berserker, IIRC. So if you have your Fel Orc in the Barracks' build list, perhaps you shouldn't.

Actually this kind of upgrades remove the availabilty of the base unit and makes the advanced unit available, the problem is that the Berserker and the tank are disabled by default, but custom units aren't. Hence the need to trigger the unavailability in this case.
