I upload main system codes and some spells example there. Feel free to ask some questions.
I read the board, and I answer to all suggestions and bug reports, so you are welcome!
For example, I accept suggestions for Heroes, spells or any other things.
You can also request to be admin of the official bot.



Official Host Bot


There is a host bot I rent to host the map.
All realms are available except Asia.
It is called "RC601": add him as a friend on BattleNet to know what is the map number.
To get it: enter /whois RC601 on BattleNet
Format is: Restricted Complex 601 - #(number of the game)
Go on the board if you want to get admin.

The map


This map is between a Hero Survivor and an ORPG.
Pick your Hero class, do the quests and, of course, try to survive
You may be able to save your experience
Experience gives you bonus and grants access to more Hero types.
The map is organized in the area over the Restricted Complex 601
The RC601 is an underground complex (the one of the first version)
Players will be requested to take care of a zombie threat (of course :D)



Game Modes


RC601 has three game modes at the moment: normal, nightmare and pure survival. Nightmare is the same game with harder creeps (+10 damage and +50% health points, +20% chances to spawn special waves etc.) and a changed terrain (trees are replaced by dead trees, meteors fall from the sky, terrain itself is changed, etc.). Survival mode is without main quest. The objective is to survive to 4 waves of creeps.



Quests


-Complete Quest Trees with random/counditions to make each game different
-Each quest has its own universe of creeps (combinating several types like Zombies, Putrefactions, Excressences, Abominations, Flesh mass, Gargoyles, Mutation Gamma, Mutation Delta, Mutation Iota etc...)
-Each quest get its own boss (Flesh Composite, Evolved Ghoul, Project Amphibius, Project Nexus, etc...)
-Each quest success brings experience. If the quest can be failed, and that players fail it, you will not get experience but get an other quest.
-Efficient AI for creeps, allied units and non-hero units to avoid micro-manage. Creeps are able to act with some intelligence (heal, dodge-jump etc). A part of the creeps will patrol into the direction of the current quest objective, and the other will directly follow the living heroes.
-Proportional difficulty: the more the experience average between players, the harder the game i



Heroes

-Each hero has a basic spellbook with abilities like Nightvision, Crouch, Sprint, Jump, Reload, Drop Clip, Open equipment crate.
-Each hero has spells to learn (4 main skills of 6 levels). The norm is 3 regular Hero spells and a fourth which grants a spellbook with several other abilities (Minimum 6 per hero, sometimes more).
-Each hero has a different role and gameplay; some are compulsory to get things during the game (shared vision, radars and turrets activation, cave seal etc.)
-Heroes are unlocked if the loaded code provides a rank enough high.


Save System

Realistic Equipement


Since 1.09 there is no more one weapon/unit and one ammo-type per unit. NPC no longer have limited ammo, excepted they need to reload.
This mean the weapon is "hidden" (no more item to stock in the inventory) for Heroes, and all units have the same ammo-type (item type) they can load or drop from their weapon.
It is less realistic but after a lot of tests, it makes the game less complicated.

Quest Tree


Restricted Complex 601 is organized arround a quest trees: you will not play all quests in a game, but only some of them. The first quest is a imposed (at the moment, since more quest should be created later). Then, the quest you will get will change wether your last quest was a success, a fail, or, sometimes, an other random choice.

If you do have any question about this map, simply send me a message!

The reason it is protected is only because of the optimization which grants a lighter map and, overall, a faster loading time. As a consequence, this prevent a part of the cheater to generate codes.

I will of course provide any code you want to know. Open source systems are already displayed on the board.

- Typos and crappy English everywhere.
- The first objective is the most boring dull objective I've ever played. Go to point. Stand there. Go afk until objective over due to killing enough.
- Dull. Abilities dull. Plus the mana cost is quite high, so you can't even cast them much.
- I actually can't think of any redeeming qualities. It's been done a lot better in every way by other maps.

I just wanna point out. Having several heroes yet we could only choose 2x in the start is just pure crap. The first expression of a game is always the most important one and you really just lost me before i could even "start" the game. I don't mean that you should allow every class to be playable in the beginning just a couple of more classes.

Second, we got team killed by one of our friends. You should not be able to attack each other. AoE blast's i can understand. But ordering your hero to kill team mates should be out of the question.

Map changed since the first review. It is adviced to use the bot to test it, since it is definitely not made to play alone.

About the 2 heroes at start, Shadow_killer: If you play two entire game (2K xp average) you will have 6 heroes to play!

Hey, I've been searching and searching...
Can someone tell me where to find this "Villager Zombie pack by ???" mentioned in the model section? I Really like those zombie models and could really use them, but I can't locate them. Anyone?
