THE HUMAN PRIEST

A simple little unit intended for scenarios or campaigns that feature exclusive Human units. The model uses no custom textures (as per my usual style) and has a very small file size.

I originally created it for a WC1 campaign I was developing. I'd like to share it now, many years later.

Features:

-Clean optimized mdx file
-Human blood splatter and death sounds
-Long monk style robes with tossed back hood
-Innate desire to use light to heal their pals

Notes:

This unit does not have a seperate portrait animation. The model has a camera included, so you should see him as in the attached screenshot. If you want a better portrait, you can use the renegade mage unit portrait, it will suit it perfectly. I also use the renegade mage Icon for this unit.

A piece of advice.Could you shorten a little bit the shoulderpads? They should be less spiky.
Other than that,it's very useful for a non-elf human map.Good job

As requested mistertea, the shoulders are now non-pointy. I hope you enjoy it.

Wow, that's an awesome edit of the Acolyte! The best I've seen, for sure. Something like this already exists on the Hive, but eh, who cares? This is awesome stuff. I like the emblem\gem on his chest and his hood. Great work. Waiting for more of your models. ^^

Thanks guys. It's amazing how many models I have stashed in old folders. I'll be releasing them along with any optimal edits to make them better.

This is quite cool, indeed.

I'm a little disappointed that you didn't take the time to fix the awful Archmage head. The wrapping on the beard and moustache is nasty; not your fault, though. The beard texture certainly has the potential to be epic, but the Blizz model just doesn't deliver.

The shoulderpads are also a little dull and the lighting doesn't make sense (darker than the surrounding cloth, yet seemingly the same material). It'd be great if you could give him some actual shoulderpads as opposed to more cloth (team colour would be ideal here).

By the looks of things, he has some unwelded vertices on the back, it'd be a good idea to fix those up too.

SM!
I actually like the head, it's very fitting. Great model, nice use of in-game textures.

And, might I ask, where did you get that archer and knight? They look quite nice as well.

If possible try to fix this to get it Approved.
