How do I unprotect my map + get the triggers back?

Hi, I wanted to do some improvements on a very old map of mine. I dont have the unprotected version anymore, it was 5 or 6 years ago.
I tried the first unprotector I found with Google, but that converted all the triggers to some strange jass code and it threw a million errors on trying to test the map.

Is there any way I can get my map back?

I would suggest that you extract the terrain, units, etc. from the map, and re-do all triggers, and anything else that can't be extracted. Inconvenient, but it is the only way.
