Hello, I'm called Tenshi I'm new to this forum, but recently i've gotten into the Warcraft 3 World Editor My most important project at the time is the creation of a custom race - or better, completing an already existing race with new units, buildings and whatever a "full" race would need. But as I mentioned, I'm still pretty new to the editor - I still do not know how to (properly) use triggers and whatever, and I am surely not as good as I'd like to be... So I came here to seek some help and feedback... First, I have one problem - I desperately need building models for Naga buildings... I need: Some kind of defensive structure model, as I think the race should at least have 2 different defensive structures... the defensive structure I need should poison enemies(this effect should influence the model)... Not hard to make, sure, but I have no model for this building.. I am also thinking of adding a third defensive structure - it would be something like an "Ensnare-Tower".. it might be stationed by some kind of unit, but could "cast" Ensnare or something like that.... it would also work as an formidable anti-air structure Next, I need models for two...ehh.. "unit-creation structures"(like, barracks, workshop etc..... one to create.. animal like units, one could say (specefically the already existing "Dragon Turtle", my created "Siege Hydra" and my customized "Makrura Scavenger" - which looks like one of these Makrura Crabs) The Name I've thought of would be something like "Garden of Azshara" or so The second structure should create 2 units - first the "Leviathan", a heavy flying unit looking like a blue dragon - secondly the already existing "Naga Royal Guard", which are the two strongest units of the naga race (compareble with something like frost warms, chimeras, mountain giants etc etc..)For this one I do not even have a name, so any naming suggestions are happily taken. Then, I need a model for one shop-like building (like Tomb of Relics, Ancient of Wonders, Arcane Vault etc...) Also, i plan on creating a building which would function like a weakened version of the mana and health springs - it would provide boosted mana and health regenaration to nearby friendly, but also enemy units - and would pack important upgrades to the naga units Following, I need one "Lumber-Drop" station. (like the graveyard, the lumber mill etc.) - This one would also pack the generic unit upgrades(meaning, coral scales, chitineous scales etc...) and a few building upgrades - like, upgrading the defensive structures damages/effects, and maybe something like spiked barricades or improved masonry etc.. but i haven't decided on that by now Last but not least, i need models for the upgraded version of the Naga's town hall.... Any idea for some other interesting building would be appreciated, but most of all, any help on the matter with the models is appreciated and also, i'd like to have a few custom unit models.... especially for the Leviathan I'd like to have a custom Model(the Blue Dragon Model is just a compromise) For the custom models I need.. well, i think the names and description of my units should say everything, so I shall provide them now: Mur'gul Oracle - A highly supportive Spellcaster, able to heal and protect his allies - initial spell is "protection of azshara", which increases a friendly units armor by 10 and health regenaration by 50 for 5 seconds with a cd of 10, next one is Chain Heal, which heals high amounts of health to 3 allies, and last one is Ressurect, which Ressucts one dead friendly unit. I think this unit should look like a tiny Mur'gul, but should have something like a magical rod or so within his hands. Makrura Scavenger - Heavy Tanking unit, has provoke which practically works likes taunt, Rend Flesh, which works like a modified vampiric aura but only for himself and Enraged Smash, which damages a wide area of effect for 40 damage and stuns everything it hits for 1.5 seconds(it works like a kind of super disruptor, but has a high cd and must be researched) Actualy, the model i currently use(Makrura Tide Lord) already looks pretty good, but improvement is improvement Siege Hydra: Ranged Siege unit with an aversion of corrosive breath and which spawns Siege Hydra Hatchlings once it dies This one is a Hydra, so i need a Hydra model.. I am pretty satisfied with the one i already have, but improvement is still improvement(as i already mentioned) And the Leviathan, a heavy air unit, comparable with something like the Frost Wyrm - though, i am still not fully sure about it's abilities, so help would be appreciated. With this unit i really have problems.. it would totally fit into the water-born theme of the naga, but i just do not what kind of abilities to add and what kind of look itself and it's abilities should have - help is desperately needed other than these, i still have the normal naga units, but i have modify every single one a bit... the naga sirens tier 3 spell is now "silentum", which silences enemy units for a certain amount of time The Dragon Turtle is now a Melee siege unit, but the abilities haven't changed much The couatl can now learn "magical acid", which works like feedback - but it still has the abolish magic cast The Mur'gul Reaver can learn "poisoined weapons" which is a weakened version of the orc's envenomed spears the snap dragon hasn't changed in terms of abilities the royal guards spells have been altered a bit and renamed (ice shard, Crushing Tides, Summon Sea Elemental) - crushing tides and summon sea elemental have to be researched Heroes: I have 4 Hereos, 3 fully self created, 1 derived form Lady Vashj 1. Revenant of Apocalypse: A highly offensive caster unit, adept at dealing tremendous amounts of damage and stealing life and mana of a target - current model: Deeplord Revenant; Primary attribute: intelligence;; This Hero is balanced through mighty effect with high cooldowns. It's strength is it's lowest stat, while intelligence is tremendously high - agility is moderate but still somewhat low 2. Plague Ravager: agile warrior which deals high amounts of damage. Can slow and poison enemy units and has a parasite like skill, which spawn plague minions/plague thrashers/plague monstrosities - current model: murloc mutant; primary attribute: agility;; It's agility is extremely high, granting it's normal attack very high damage and giving the unit much armor. the strength is a tad low and the intelligence is very low. Though, I am thinking about further decreasing it's strength due to the high armor this unit has - but it has no regenarative ability or anything, but is the master of slowing effects. 3. Frozen Crusader: Strong defensive unit, has a healing aura and can freeze opponents to disrupt and disable them - current model: Blue Dragonspawn; primary attribute: strength;; High strength but even higher intelligence, this unit functions as a disruptive caster, disrupting and stunning opponents, while his aura automatically heals allies. his health is very high, same as his mana pool, but his agility is quite low - this unit doesnt do much damage but rather supports allies through disabling enemies 4. Sea Huntress: the on i derived from lady Vashj, i didn't change much, just a few attributes - the agility is higher now whilst the strength is a bit lower Also, I still need the "Hero Glow" for my custom Heroes - if anyone knows how to add this to a model or if anyone could provide custom hero models, i'd be grateful If anyone wants to suggest some kind of unit model, please tell me^^ I shall add a test map soon, which will contain all of my custom units and buildings, so you can test with them however you wish |
