Hey I couldn't find a topic on this, but I was having trouble with MPQ Master. I noticed that when I try to import I think like 65 or more files it stops importing them. I tried changing around the file order to see if it was just like bad files at the end, but the files at the end were still cut off. I also tried like WinMpq and other MPQ editors but they did the same thing. Question: Does anyone know how to be able to import more than 65 files using MPQ Master, or using another MPQ editor? The reason why I have to import so many files is because I'm converting it to RoC. I do that because I feel my maps have more of a chance to be played on there rather than TFT because of DotA. |

You need to increase the hash table size of the mpq as that limits the total number of files you can add to it. I'm not sure if you can do that in mpq master. Ladiks mpq editor has the ability to do this. |

Ok thank you. I had found the answer on how to fix it with Winmpq, just recently. To increase the size past 64 and create a new mpq file and then import everything in. It worked great the map was RoC and all the files were imported. It loaded in the editor too. The only problem was the wc3 custom game list couldn't find it. Now why not just open it up in the editor and save it? Well, it would make it TFT again :(. Would you happen to know a solution to this new problem of wc3 list not finding the game, and it was in the download folder? |
