Adjusting the x/y/z positioning a model.

Basically, I'm working with the Warden missile (that little knife thing) in a 3D environment, but due to certain issues with the model itself, it's positioning will always look slightly out of place when applied at ~45 or bigger z-angles (Basically, the farther from 0 degrees, the more noticeable)

So what I'm asking for is a way to move the model along it's own x/y/z axis. I imagine it's a rather simple operation and I'm using notepad, but there's a lot of big scary text and I'm afraid of touching it.

Can someone give me a nod in the right direction, please? It would be awesome!

I'm guessing you want magos' (?) editor and to move the mesh closer to the zero point. notepad is probably not the thing to use although if it's in unicode it's theoretically possible.
