What do I do after I download a w3n file?

I've been wanting to play the Lord of the Clans campaign, as that is one of my favorite parts of the the Warcraft lore, as well as find some more maps to play around with, but I've been having a problem. While normally finding a program to unzip something isn't that big of a problem, w3n is just frustrating me. I can't seem to find a program that unzips it.

I know I'm stupid. Normally I get around this by searching on google the same question I have, but that hasn't been turning up anything. I don't doubt that it's easy, but it's evading me, so would someone please just tell me what the simple process is?

You're not supposed to unzip .w3n files, you have to put them in the Campaigns subfolder of your WC3 directory and then access them ingame using the Custom Campaign singleplayer option. If you want to view/edit individual maps from the campaign, try using the Campaign Editor which is a part of the Warcraft's World Editor.

Ah. Silly. I appreciate it man. I don't know why I thought I had to unzip it.

probably because most stuff has multiple files and has to be unzipped.
