I'm somewhat familiar with hydro power and this doesn't make any sense to me (where's the water pressure coming from?) but the picture does remind me of UT3 |

hydro generates power from water pressure spinning a turbine. this is usually done during a vertical fall because then you don't have to expend energy to get some out. the elevation seems to drop about 500 feet and the turbine looks about that big so you're not going to get much out. in addition the water seems to come through an aqueduct of some sort which either slopes down or has pumps thus removing more net energy from the output. be more efficient to just do the hydro where ever it's coming from and then send the power out. so tl;dr, yes, i question your realism naming skills. |
