RIP TDR

I'm very sad to hear that TDR has died. He was with his band at the nighclub that burnt down in Romania, tragically taking the lives of many people.

Although we never met, Tudor was a big inspiration of mine. We worked together on many projects here and we spent many hours talking Online, sharing our love for music, games and art.

He was flown from Romania to Birmingham in the UK to be treated, but died from his injuries - just a short distance from where I live. We used to joke about how he'd come over here to play on the big festival stages with his band.

Rest in peace Tudor Golu.

It's been a while since I've come here, but I just wanted to share my condolences. He was a very talented guy and I loved his style and attitude.

It's a rough way to go and I hope his loved ones get through the tough times ahead.

What a sad news....

I'll always remember him for being straight, hard but constructive in critics and help people improve in the artistic matters. Rest in Peace TDR.

I'm really sad...

Holy cow, this is horrible.

I remember tuning into the news radio about a week ago and hearing about that Romanian nightclub burning down. As with all human tragedy, I felt bad, but pretty disconnected from it; no one I knew, y'know?

But hearing this... It brings it all into focus. ~50 people dead/injured; 50 sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters... Criminy.

Like others here, I didn't have direct interactions with him, but he was a Name To Be Known around these parts; known for excellent art & utter frankness.

Rest In Peace, dude. We'll keep your family in our prayers.

This is quite a shock. I remember we used to participate in some hero contests together, I was working on the code while he made the art. One of my spellpacks still uses his hero model.

My condolences to the family and friends. I really don't know what else to say. I guess thanks to Whitehorn for letting us know.

Thank you Whitehorn for posting this. TDR will be missed, so let's not forget the work he did here and out in the world.

Been a long time since I've talked to him, but he was a really good guy and the world is worse without him. Cheers for bringing this to everyone's attention, Whitehorn.
