Guest | Okay, so heres My idea. A Barbarian lord sets up a kingdom in a land inhabited by a race of pimitive animal-worshippers, named the Sarusanis. Being the heartless barbarian bastard that he is, the King orders the destruction of this peace loving clan. The lord's son, Zorn, rebels and tries to convince his father not to kill the Sarusanis, but his father ignores him, and Zorn is cast into exile. He is accepted into the tribe of Sarusanis, and he sets forth to gather allies for the Sarusanis so that they can overthrow the evil barbarian lord. To gain the support of other tribes and powerful beasts, Zorn must prove himself worthy by completing quests. The most innovative part of this RPG, in my opinion, is the way the character can be developed. The player can pick up items that represent weapons, and so by using the weapons, the character is changed into a model carrying that weapon. The more levels a character gains while using a certain weapon, the more skillful the character is with that weapon, and the character becomes a certain class and gets acess to certain abilities. Here is a list of people working on this campaign frosty_cold- leader/triggerer Twistar- Spell editing Raztagael- skins bunny_of_death- Terrain MaabyTTK- Terrain Stereohead- Terrain What we need: WC3-TFT!!!!! (for updated triggereing system it will include) We dont need anymore people, but for convenience we could do with more spell editors and terrainers. |

You should get some more proof that you are worthy of modellers or skinners. Screenshots or something. Anyone can write out a quick overview. And no, I didn't come here for an argument. ^_^ |

Guest | you are a talented skinner. Sure! Join the team! I want you to try to skin the archer in 2 ways: 1 so that the archer has armor, and one where the archer looks like a kung fu type person (both with the bow still) Also, if you have time, there are a few other skins i would like you to do. If you cant pull any of these off quite right, then well have to get into modeling. For now, try to make a footman look like a kung fu guy (still with sword) and make another version that kind of looks like a ranger. See if you can do it. The last few units require modeling, so thats all for now. :) |

Guest | What magic means is, post some screenies to show how much your done, and why your worth skinning/modeling/terraining for. People dont like signing up for something, doing alot of work, then then thing being canceled... |

Guest | i already said, i am going to post a version of the game engine soon. That is all that i can hope to do, since i suck at visuals. I will have a working version of the engine done by the end of the week, at the latest. So anyone who is afraid (or hoping) that it will be cancelled, know this, i spent about 6 hours of uninterrupted work on just creating and triggering in all the units. This will NOT be cancelled! I am really putting effort into this. When i put out the test version, it will be the engine that the game will use. That means that a good chunk of the game will be done. Also, this chunk is 100% my effort, no help at all. Anyway, thanks magic and Spectre, you have given me alot of useful suggestions for getting a team together. |

Guest | The only thing this team really needs now is a good skinner, and we will have met all our minimum requirements, although i would like to have a dedicated modeler (by dedicated i mean not doing anything else) So far there are only two members of this team, Me, and Stereohead. Stereohead is doing modeling and terrain right now, and i am doing triggers, working to put out a working version of the game engine soon. I would really apprecciate more help. |

Glad you appreciated the tip. Check the top of this forum for more. What do you mean by 'game engine' exactly? The settings in World Edit? |

Guest | Twistar: i would welcome your help. Can you edit spells? that would be extremely helpful. I would also appriciate it if you tried your hand at skinning. Email me at [email protected]. Magic: How can i help but appreciating your suggestions, they are good! (well i guess i could if i was really oversensitive) but anyway, what i mean by game engine is what the game uses to determine how the player develops, how he gains skills for example. The engine i release will be an example of my triggering skill. Thats the main thing i am good at. I cant do screenshots, because there is nothing special to do screen shots of. |
