Guest | Dear Cinematics Experts, I am working on the cinematics of my map and would like to cut between two cameras. That is, I would like instantaneous movement from one camera object to another. The trigger I am using is: Player Group - Pick every player in HeroGroup and do (Camera - Apply without panning <camera object> for (Picked player) over 0.00 seconds) HeroGroup is a "Player Group" variable and contains the four players that are "Users" in the map. The Problem: When this trigger fires I get to a new camera position instantly, and it works for all the players just fine. But, the new camera angle and frame is off. It's like during the cut, the camera angle is being shifted over somewhat. Another way to explain this might be to say that, when the trigger cuts to the new camera angle, the framing of that camera is messed up. Basically, I want to go from an establishing-shot to a two-shot, but when I cut to the two-shot the frame is misplaced and I only get a medium-shot of one of the characters. I'll try it with the panning and see if my framing comes out right, but I really don't want to pan. If you have a solution to my problem, please, let me know. Thanks. |

Guest | Dear random157, Thank you. Your suggestion solved my problem. For your information, "Apply without panning" is an option under the "Apply" field in the "Camera - Apply" trigger. I thought its purpose was to cut straight between cameras, but I guess that is not the case. If anyone does know what fuction it serves I'd like to know. |
