ummm people, it is NOT possible to play melee on Bnet. You will get disconnected, and other players too. You will flamed/banned as a disconnect hacker.
the point to go online is to arrange custom games with friends who have NRM. because they will be using the NRM mpq they won't get disconnected, neither will you. you just can't play against players who are using normal warcraft.
i've newly download the 3.1patch.but soon i find that i haven't update to 3.0 yet~~
when i play this mod,using troll,i can't find some of my characters.it's all ok when i play the original version,2.7.

The patch doesn't say if it has patched to 3.1 or not. On the troll team some units have changed were they get trained. Like the lizardcage that doesn't exist anymore. the smallest lizard has been moved to forest lodge while the biggest lizard have been moved to ice cavern and now goes under the name frost lizard.
