Is it possible to have a unit be able to sell shiznit without it being invincible? Will removing the invincibility ability work? Grrr.... I want a unit to be able to sell stuff, like a merchant, but when he dies you cant buy anymore..... Is this possible AT ALL?

You cant have the select hero ability without having the unit become invincible.

u could maybe have a different unit near it that when that unit dies, the merchant is destroyed???

or maybe dont use select hero and place the merchant building far away, then move the purchased items to the hero ?

i dont got any better ideas lol ><

Fyre: WHY? It _always_ worked for me.

I had peasant building a destroyable Shop in my Survival and in my (stopped) Crypt Defense I had a summon-able Graveyard Supermarket that was destroyable.

Ofcourse you can have non-invunerable merchants. Just look at the default Goblin Merchant and Mercenary Camps; none of them are invulnerable. The reason why their hp doesn't display is simply because War3 has trouble displaying hp values so high(they have 150000 hp).

With the select hero ability the unit using it has its armor set to invulnerable. I don't have that ability on, it just says its invulnerable.

In the expansion u can build shops
If u want to wait till then, you probably could do it easier.

Make 2 units. Make one slightly smaller than your guy that'll look like your shopkeeper. Stick the smaller invisible one inside the fake shopkeeper. When the fake shopkeeper dies just make a trigger remove the real one from the game.

Easiest way I think is to do it like people did in StarCraft. When a unit enters the region around the building give them temporary control. Then have them train units, and when a unit is trained then give the item that matches it to the hero. Not perfect, but it would work.
