My Second Skin

Dear forum-goers,

I present for you my second skin. When creating it, I saw the character as a "Ghoul Lord". He travels with ghouls, kills peasants and make an overall nuisance or himself. Please tell me what you think and in what ways I might be able to improve.

I don't care if thats cut and paste, i think it looks really nice. The darker colors help to define it more than if you had the lighter colors, and even if thats cut and paste, i think that face looks better on arthas than it does on the death night.

Dats nice,but you should name it somethig like "horseless death knight".

lol, I thought noone actually posted their second skin under the title "my second skin". Are you gonna post your next skin under the title "my third skin"? Just joking.

Anyways, nice work, though I think many people have already done something similar.

I am glad to have had such a great response to my second skin. If you would like, I'll release it, but I'm not sure on how to proceed with that. Shall I simply post the .tga in this thread?

Also, the skin is not entirely cut-n'-paste. The armor, cloak and spell book are original. However, I did 'borrow' the head and sword from the death knight. If I were to change anything it would be to re-do the sword. Fortunately, the sword is a completely different file, so if I end up altering it, I can simply post that.

just post the tga or the blp, both should be fine >_<

I've created a .zip for the skin. Inside you'll find everything you'll need to put the skin into one of your own maps.

The skin is in .blp format. You'll have to change the name to "Arthas.blp" and put it over "Textures\Arthas.blp" if you want it to work properly.

Note, in order to get the unit to wield the same sword as in the picture you'll have to reskin Frost-Mourne. I've included the file for that, simply rename it to "FrostmMourne.blp" and put it over "Textures\FrostmMourne.blp" to get it to work.
