Wirt's leg?!

I was just looking around WCIII pic thingy, when i saw a weird item pic called "Wirt's leg". (I also came across another one called "Wirt's other leg".) so what is it from? Diablo maybe?

wirt was a NPC in diablo 1, and his leg was the secret item to opening the cow level in d2, and its just a junk item in wc3 like the item called "Phat lewt"

I thought so, and what's a NPC? i put wirt's leg in my best map(It's really fun, but nobody has played becuz it's so hard to DL becuz my computer stinks.), it's hidden, so they have to look around, & it's just fun to look at, nothing really big. as for phat lewt, i put that in my other map (I make tons of maps, Hills of Glory 2, my 3rd best map.) it's called "Hills of Glory 2" it's very fun, cuz everyone is high elves! it has phat lewt in it, ppl use it to get rare items! I'm proud of my 3 best maps!

I see, I see, btw, what did he look like? i mean, his leg is a stick! or looked like a stick with a shoe! does that mean Wirt is a stump? lol

In d2 you never saw him, you just did a side quest and you get his leg. I havent played diablo 1 in a long time so I donno lol.

Wirt was a little boy from Diablo I.

As the archwizard Lazarus led the townsfolk of Tristnam into the crypts, and trapped them with the demon 'The Butcher'. Griswold the Blacksmith (You'll meet him as a zombie in Diablo II Act 1 Tristnam) saved Wirt from the demon, but Wirt lost a leg. Instead of that leg he got a wooden one, like the pirates :ggani: ! The other leg is probably one lost whenhe died :gsmile: !
