Guest | In Cookie's tutorial, mpq2k is used to implant files into .w3m archive. I downloaded mpq2k from wc3campaigns and tried it, but I can't get it to even list the files in the w3m file. Whenever I list the file the program gives an error and hangs. I tried adding and it did it, but when I list contents after the add, it only shows the file I added. All the other files are not listed. Am I using the wrong storm.dll or something? I tried to replace it with the retail storm.dll and mpq2k doesn't even run. Can anyone help? |

Guest | well, there was an readme included and it stated, and I quote: Installation: The only requirement for installation is that the file 'storm.dll' that ships with starcraft must either be in the same directory as the application, be located in the Windows or Windows\System directory, or located somewhere on your search path (specified by a 'PATH=' in your autoexec.bat). This file is not provided but may be found in your Starcraft installation directory. Versions of the DLL prior to Starcraft version 1.0 will not work with this program. This means that you have to copy the storm.dll from the main wc3 folder to the directory of the mpq view well hope I sovled your problem =) |

Guest | Hmm.. I was refering to MPQ2K.. not mpq view. I tried putting storm.dll in the same folder as MPQ2K from wc3, but like I said it gave error when running |

Could you be a little more detailed and maybe cut and paste the error message in here? |

Guest | Ahh.. I see, so you just use mpq2k to insert, but not view. Alright thanks. |
