Noob Q's

Okay, some stuff I've been working on that I haven't figured out yet.

First off, how do I set critters not to give Hero's Exp.

Second, is there a way to allow hero's more skills then 3+3+3+1? Read the FAQ thread, seemed to say no, except for something about passive abilities...

Third, and I might figure this on my own, but is there an 'area effect' wood harvest process? Where you would have a unit near to x number of trees, which in turn gives you x amount of lumber during each 'tick'? Or is that something I can hack with a moving region type of thing that counts the number of trees in said region?

Fourth, is there a way for regions to hold relationship between each other, say in having a 10X10 region that has a small 4x4 region in the upper right hand corner no matter where the initial region is moved.

Fifth, can non-buildings be given 'upgrading' features. Such as an 'armorer' unit that fights but also upgrades your armor level. Can they fight and upgrade at the same time, or would a Tree of Whatever style unit need to "Root" to use such a thing. Same question about training units from a mobilized building.

Uh, yeah those are my first nights questions after about 3 hours of playing with the Editor.

Going to try a rudimentary 'madness' map just to get a feel for the whole trigger system (though I've never liked those in general). Then we'll see what happens from there.

Okay, another problem that seems silly that I can't figure out. When I'm adding new triggers into the system, how do I edit a trigger I've already plopped down, say an Action that I want to change from creating one Undead Killer Sheep, to creating Two Undead Killer sheep?

You cant pass over the limit, how ever there's a certain way to do it. Try looking DataAngel's New map its called "PKDome" something.

There's an order wherein you make peasants harvest. I don't think you can cut trees with only one chop. ;)

Regions can be overlapped into each other.

Download cookies advanced editor 1.1, I think it supports that

Double click the trigger

The "Area effect harvest" Had the intention of being used like wisps (doesn't remove trees). I'm not looking for a one chop kill.

I'll look in to getting the cookie enhancer ;).

And the word 'trigger' was actually a misnomer, it's the Actions/Condition/Events in the trigger that I can't seem to adjust. I've double clicked, right clicked, dragged...

can you make it so critters don't give hero(s) exp? or maybe turn down how much exp it gives to a hero? my problem is hero(s) are leveling up way too fast.

Hmm, Okay, I think the exp a unit gives is either linked to it's level or it's 'point' value. Is it the one multiplied by the other? Which is why level 0 critters give no exp, nor do ones with pointage = 0.

Double clicking it is what does it. If that doesn't work, something's wrong :p

i got another question that someone here might be able to answer... i tell a peasant to build more then 4 things and the 5th one and up aren't shown when you try to build it... kinda like the hero ability problem. how do you fix this?

and if anyone knows/makes a script that makes a hero get less exp when killing a unit please tell me... even at point value 1 he levels up too quickly :(

Then I'm afraid there's something wrong, I'll try running the editor on my Laptop, might work better.

(Edit)
Another question having to do with Triggers.
I've got a build X that builds unit Y.
I want any and only all units Y to be given to another player. I can get ALL my trained units to go there, but not just the specific unit type.

Okay, I've got a custom unit that I want to BUILD buildings. However, the only build style he seems to do, is 'acolyte' summoning style, so the building starts, and he just wanders off. How do I use the other styles?
