Mappack #1 REVIEWS

Notice: This is not supposed to be a reference, it is simply an opinionated set of reviews of the maps in the first DMMod Mappack. I'll add more as I play and review them.

Forgotten Lands
Tileset: Ashenvale
Review: Though not a visually stunning map, Forgotten Lands has its strong points, namely it's generous size and it's linear feel. Packed with several themed areas, Forgotten Lands excels at being a near-perfect chunk of clay for the DM to work with.
Terrain: 6.5/10
Usability: 9/10
Style: 7.5/10
Overall: 7.5/10
Pros: Open, large and linear.
Cons: DMs using the map for the first time may have trouble, terrain/doodad placement doesn't "flow" or feel appropriate in places.

The Tower of Elysia
Tileset: Barrens
Review: Nice terrain, good flow and extremely easy for the DM to manage, The Tower of Elysia excels in several areas, and aside from its size, feels and plays like a perfect DMMod map. The use of the dirt tiles on the paths is excellent, as is the placement of the occaisional doodad. Trees felt a bit to overused in places, taking up potential scene locations. The ground felt a bit too level in places, but aside, The Tower of Elysia was a very well played map.
Terrain: 9/10
Usability: 9/10
Style: 9/10
Overall: 8/10
Pros: Great terrain/tile use, easy for the DM to manage.
Cons: Trees took up too much space, map felt a bit small.

8/10? thats pretty good, and about the level thing - i really dont like to raise the terrain to much because i dont thing it looks nice with some sort of flat roads sometimes. and hey! THX for the 8/10

The trees... hmm maybe but i did not want to make it so much terrainy (?) cause i like it when i have some sort of small roads a bit there and a forest there (??!!)
