Here's a from scratch skin i've been making for some time. It needs coloring but you guys can see the main idea. comments plz. thx to pencilgod for the skinning techniques (btw i wanna give this one to some project, because for me it looks good :D )

mmm dont like it colored... lol, mmm got a small idea

change the skin tone and everything(except the cyborg parts) into that of a DH(nightelf..), itll look like a changeling...*cough*... just a idea

ok, that's good, but maybe if it isn't so.. GREEN it show be cooler... maybe shoud u try a green more "matrix" or some futurist color =D

It's a great skin, some of the better I've seen. But maybe I can give you some simple tips to make it even better. The wires and tubes you created seem a little unshaded. Darken them a bit more. Also, you might want to try duplicating your skin (or only the tubes) into a new layer, and then set the blending mode to overlay, and the opacity to 40, 50, or 60 % . The way I colour my techy skins is with a color layer, and with my brush tool on 70 % opacity most of the time.

ok pencilgod, i'll try that. well did this one light blue version
btw should i keep it half-organical or make it fully robotic look? btw should i give him a weapon (don't like dh weapon, maybe attaching something like an axe or something like this)

I suggest making the acctual color of the body black and make it about 3-4 colors otherwise it will look like a rainbow. Nice skin, though

Don't make the colours too 'funky'. Choose the colours so they meld together well, and complement eachother. Here's what I think was a pretty good colour scheme for my DH...
