I have attached 3 upgrade files to my map. Humanupgradesfunc.txt Humanupgradestrings.txt Upgrades.slk Now when I boot my map - the upgrades work only sometimes. I may load it once and the upgrade will not require anything (I erased all the required parts from upgradefunc.txt). Yet I reload it and the upgrades again require a building, sometimes just one player, sometimes every player requires a building to upgrade. I don't understand why sometimes the requirements are asked for, and sometimes are not on a map which has NOT been changed - just reloaded. Ideas? |

Uhmm.... the file isn't "upgrades.slk" it's "UpgradeData.slk" And when you import the files make sure they are in " Units\ " |

And be sure to use the default loading screen and not hide the minimap on startup. |

No I meant upgradesdata.slk - I can attach them correctly - the problem is not in the data.slk but in the func.txt file which states which things are required and which things are not. Can you please elaborate in detail why the changed minimap can have affect on the humanupgradesfunc.txt and only sometimes? I may load the map once and all reqs work, another time works for player A or for player B. thanks. |

IF you dont want any requirements at all, erase the whole requires=3 requre= yada yada yada. Erase it ALL. |

fyre - I erased it all. It's been all gone a long time ago. The problem is that it works only sometimes. I add the files to the map, and I load up map 1st time. The upgrades may work for some players and not others. Then I reload the map again The upgrades may work for none but one race. It changes from time to time... any ideas? |

Anyone also - have any clue why mappreview pictures may affect the upgrades? and if so... HOW? :D |
