I've seen games with several custom theme songs in them. (ie: shadows over mystera) but even if I put ONE mp3 in my map it says: Map file is too big, please select a diffrent map. Is ther a way you people are compressing the files to make them smaller?.. How do you people put several of them in there?!.. |

Well, actually my music was crappy, it was a 1/kb per sec format, and its not advisable these days... its crappy |

Damn... What the hell was blizzard thinking when they allowed you to put mp3s?.. I can't seem to find anything under 3MB... WHats the point if your gonna put in 10 second theme songs?! |

Guest | Some songs loop really well so that people don't even realize the same fragment is being played over and over. Like this one: |

Hmmm, that's weird. I was just fooling around and I put like 6-10 (mp3) songs in one of my maps. Worked just fine, but took a while to load, and I am positive that all of them were over 3 mB. Oh well... |

Guest | i thought they shoulda had also the use of midis. sure they not quality, but u can find a whole lotta songs and some sound pretty good. maybe mp3s and midis, give some choice. But midis are nice and small and they can be quite long. I wish we could just use them... |

I completely agree.. i have so many midi files and they are so much easier to get and are way smaller than mp3s.. You can add A LOT more midi files than mp3s.. because the 1 mp3 i wanted to add was 5.6 mb.. but on the midi file format its only 67kb!!!! I think its rediculous what blizzard has to offer for custom music... |
