Warcraft III Easter Special! Plus a trigger question

Hi I'm working on a cinematic that takes place in the Warcraft universe at Easter time (as if you didnt guess its a comedy cinematic). Upon completion it will be 15-20 minutes long and so far it dosnt have a dull moment :ggani: . Im trying to make this a great addition to the (sadly) small collection of cinematics. I dont want to spoil anything about it because I want everyone to be surprised when it comes out either Sunday or Monday :D . Ok well heres my questions:

1. Im trying to make the scorceress repeat her "Spell Attack" animation constantly for a scene. Ive tried using all different triggers about unit animation but none of them worked. Please someone tell me how to fix this so I can move one in the movie.

2. There is gonna be some custom music in the movie and I wanted to know if all I had to do to get it to work is import the music in. It works fine on my computer but I want to know so I dont have to release a revised version after to get it to work.

Thanks and I look forward to seing how everyone likes it after I release it! (Dont expect DeamonKillar or Insanitaeus quality work but you can expect some nice detail, real good comedy, some very nice camera work, and a few special effects here and there)

Footman and Grunt give it: :D :foot:

EDIT: The movie has been released in 15 parts! The parts start in the middle of page 4!!!! :ggani:

Did you tried "Queue Unit animation", or simply use the event "every x seconds of game (periodic event)"

Only import the music from the editor. I personally prefer to use "import sound" for musics, but that doesn't matter.

To get an animation to play over and over again, try using the Animation tag trigger.

Animation- Add animation tag Spell Attack to sorc.

The fun thing about Blizzard animations are that they are incredibly unpredictable. Did you know that telling a guy who has 2 attack animations to use a specific attack animation doesn't work? He'll just randomly use one. This annoyed the hell out of me in IC since certian animations were better for certian moments.

Some tips:

- If you want some animation to play only once, give the Action "Play Animation" as normal, and then do the action: Queue Animation. This way, the unit will start the second animation as soon as the first ends. This is good because you don't need to know how much time an animation takes to end, and also it can be used to stop the freezing effect that some animations do to the unit once they are over.

- You can stop an animation by Playing Stand Animation, Reseting Unit Animation or by giving an order to the unit (it will reset normal behavior).

- Some animations have common and rare animation variants. You can't really play specific rare animations, tough. For example, Stand -1 is the common animation. Stand -2, -3, etc. are rare animations. You can make a unit ONLY play the common or ONLY the rare (but not a specific rare) animations using Play Animaion - Specify Rarity. Some animations (Stand Ready, Stand Victory, etc.) only have one common variance.

- Animations that are only in text are common animations, and can be played normally. For example: "Stand -2" for Medivh is rare. But he also have "Stand Second" that is a special common animation, and can be played. To play "Stand -2", you need to make he play "Stand with Rare Animations", while to play "Stand Second" you don't need to specify rarity.

Look in this thread. It shows a few tips to the stand-animation. It helps me a lot. The quote is the important one in this thread. :)

I havn't timed the length yet but I'd say its a good 15 minutes long and even though that dosn't sound very long I'm sure cinematics people like Insaniteus and Daemon Killar can tell you that 15 minutes of quality bug free cinematics takes a very, very long time! And remember this movie is not supposed to be serious, its supposed to be funny! I even laughed at my own movie (well thats not saying much... I'm easily amused :ggani: ), but not after watching it for the 500th time to get it just right ;) . Well, I should be releasing it soon (Im not at home right now)!
