the only version i ensure to be virus free is the one at www.umsmaps.com, if its last modified date is the same as my release date. Otherwise I cannot ensure anything. Although this is unfortunate, it is not my fault. Don't blame my program for problems it's not the casue of. |

I agree with Scio, and probably you messed up with something else. There's no way a w3 editor don't let your computer to turn on. this is bios or hardware problem. |

Sounds like a hard drive crash of some sort. UMSWE wasn't the cause of it though. |

Or some software problem caused by something else, maybe even by himself without knowing what he does. If he didn't download an infected file of UMSWE, it cannot be UMSWE. There are so many people (including me) who use it over and over and never have problems. |

Try booting up ur comp in safe mode and un-installing the editor. This might help but if no one here can help you I suggest you take it to an expert. If you have XP just press f8 when booting up ur comp to be taken to the boot-up mode selection screen. Select Safe Mode and go in and uninstall it. I'm not sure how to get into safe mode with other os. |

Also on older Windows versions you come to the boot-up mode selection screen by pressing F8. |

Hey get your HD to some of your friend's house and test it. I really don't believe WEUMS made this (i actually know it didn't), but you can test it anyway. Or post the place where you'd get it, I'll take a look if you want... |
