Can anyone tell me how to insert custom spell icons and spell tooltips into warcraft 3 maps. I edited the AbilityData.slk file and used TechMPQ to insert it into my map and that worked. But when I edited the [RaceName]AbiltyStrings.txt and [RaceName]AbiltyFunc.txt files and inserted them into the map using TechMPQ (like with AbilityData.slk) it did not work. I know someone must know how to do it because whoever made Defense of the Ancients apparently knows how. I'm making a new World of WarCraft maps and would really appreciate if someone could tell me what im doing wrong and how to do it right so I can make my new World of WarCraft map even better than the first one I made. |

Make sure you changed the uberAlias in the AbilityData.slk to your own ability code, and make sure you edited the txt files code to your own ability code. |

You have to look at all *abilitystrings.txt (e.g.: orcabilitystrings.txt) and edit them. As harrykarry said you have to look at the ID. |
