Need help with new Ability

I'm pretty sure I remember posting this this morning, but when I came back I didn't see it. Odd.

Anyway, I'm creating a mod featuring a new race called the Biomechs. They are sort of like the Borg from Star Trek except more mutated and with fancy magic.

Anyway, I want to have a spell similiar to PolyMorph, except it turns them into Biomechs unit. I could just replace the Sheep with a new unit, but there are 2 problems.
I want to have different units created for whatever unit you assimiliate, like if you assimilate a pig or a sheep you'll get a MechaBeast, if you assimiliate an ordinary Human you'll get a Cyborg.

I was thinking of having a portable building that created the equivilent unit whenever you killed a specific unit using some ability. I'm not sure though. I don't want it to have the option of creating the unit in the menu though. Is this possible? Please help.
